Opening Ceremony of the VII edition of the Advanced Master in Sustainable Blue Economy

The first session of the 7th edition of our Advanced Master in Sustainable Blue Economy has started in presence in Trieste. 

From the 11th to the 22nd of March, 24 students coming from 15 different nationalities, will explore and deepen their journey in the field of Blue Economy.

This year, in addition to the online kick-off event, we organized an in person opening ceremony, to give our students the opportunity to get to know one another and the entire Advanced Master Board of Directors and Steering Committee. The ceremony, held at the University of Treiste, was also attended by the Vice Rector of the University of Trieste and the President of the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics - OGS.

The Master, co-organized by the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics - OGS and the Università degli studi di Trieste, focuses on the main issues of the sustainable blue economy from a multidisciplinary perspective. From transboundary conservation to sustainable resource management, our students will gain the skills needed to drive positive change on a global scale.
