The activities of the Deep Blue project are about to start and the project partners are looking for participants! Do you want to take part in our training opportunities? There are 2 open calls at the moment:

Sea governance and blue growth: balancing sustainable use and conservation through Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) in the field of fisheries and aquaculture
This is an advanced training for local authorities, municipality officers and representatives of the private sector (only from Mediterranean countries), on marine spatial planning and its application for fisheries and aquaculture.

Advanced Scientific Knowledge of the Marine Environment
This is a Training-of-trainers for young professionals (only from Mediterranean countries) in the field of marine sciences on environmental monitoring techniques to manage the environmental impacts on fisheries and aquaculture.

The DeepBlue project aims at developing skills, building capacities, and enhancing the geopolitical dialogue in the Western Mediterranean region through increased international scientific cooperation (Science Diplomacy). The project partners are: Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS); University of Sfax (UniSfax), the Universidàd Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Higher Institute of Fishing Technologies and Aquaculture.
The project is co-funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
