Umberta Tinivella

Carries out research using oil and gas recovery techniques and approaches in applied geophysics, petrophysics, basin analysis, aquifers, porous fluid analysis, with a focus on natural gas hydrates in marine environments and permafrost.

Uses standard and unconventional methods to process seismic data, such as WED, AVO, modeling, and theoretical models to describe the physical properties of pores.

Received the Cagniard Prize and the Best Poster Award at EAGE.
