Giulia Realdon

Biologist, retired teacher (Natural Sciences in high school), now working in education research at the University of Camerino (UNICAMearth workgroup) and within international groups: EMSEA (European Marine Science Educators Association) - Mediterranean Regional Group, and e-COST EuroScitizen project on public understanding of evolution.

As EGU (European Geoscience Union) Field Officer for Italy, she runs teacher-training workshops on Earth Sciences, while at local level organizes science communication events for schools with NGO Scienza under 18 Isontina.

Giulia writes about science education and collaborates as reviewer with Science in School European journal.

She is Scientix Ambassador, member of the Italian National Steering Committee of Science on Stage Europe and of the Scientific Committee of NGO Ocean Literacy Italia.
